 Due to the urgent need to pass a special financially-related resolution, your Executive Board has moved the May General Membership Meeting to Thursday, May 12th at 6:00 pm.

This is a very important meeting concerning the future financial condition of the Post and you should read the attached materials (see link below) and plan to attend the meeting.

The members of Post 44 made their voices heard at the Post elections on April 14th.

Home Depot Banner 1 Once again, the Post extends its OFFICIAL thanks to the folks at the Pavilion’s Home Depot.

The team, led by Store Manager Nicole Jensen did an outsHome Depot Mayor Award 1tanding job both inside and outside the Post. 

Thanks to volunteers from the Home Depot and supplies donated by Rust Oleum and Glidden paints our ballroom was completely refreshed and the outside of the Post was painted in a contemporary color. Nicole, shown here with Foreman John, is accepting the Mayor’s Award for Community Service.

 

Upcoming events in May – click on the Calendar link to the left for all events:

  • Music at the Vet’s Home – Wednesday May 4th…drop by the Home at 4141 N 3rd Street, Phoenix to support our outreach to vets who can’t come to the Post.
  • Oldies but Goodies Rock and Roll – Friday May 27th, featuring Randy Thomas, music of the 50s, 60s, and 70s.  Costume and dance contests.
  • Memorial Day – Post 44 will be one of the participants in the Memorial Day observance May 30th, Camelback Cemetery 8am followed by a ceremony at Scottsdale’s Civic Plaza at 10am

Recurring Events….

  • Live music Fridays and Saturdays, click here for schedule
  • Sunday Brunch served from 10 am to 1 pm each Sunday.
  • Bingo on Mondays beginning at 3 pm
  • Tuesday Queen of Hearts drawing at 6:30
  • Karaoke Tuesdays from 6 – 9 pm with pause for Queen of Hearts drawing.
  • Bar Bingo every Thursday starting at 6:30, usually goes to 8:30 pm
