President Brandon Vail – Hello! Recently i have been elected to serve as ALR 44’s President. I look forward to working with everyone and setting up 2019-2020 to be a great year.
6/15/2019  The ALR was under the leadership of Steven Tivnan, from March of 2017 and as of June of 2019 Brandon Vail will be the new President of the Riders.

March 9, 2017  The months have been busy for the American Legion Riders Post 44 Scottsdale AZ.

We have done a lot of Firsts for the riders and our post! on 3 February we helped with the 4 Chaplain Ceremony a First for our post, Then on 11th of February we rode in the Parada Del Sol! another first for us!!. We host the post on Bar Bingo on the 3rd Thursday of the month Always a Great Time for all! Come on down and enjoy bingo in a relaxed fun event!! On the 22nd of February We honored Past Presidents Jim Baginski and Brian Sheahan with a Dinner at American Legion Post 44  Past Commanders and Presidents Dinner again another 1st for us!

We still continue to have our meetings on the 3rd Monday of the month @ 7:00 pm and all are invited to attend that have a 350 cc or more motorcycle, trike or more! We are Family driven.

Wow! Our American Legion Riders, Scottsdale Post 44 have been busy. on 9 November 2016 we had 9 Bikes roll out of Post 44 to Motorcycles on Main Street in Mesa, AZ.  Welcome to Jace, Chris, and Todd, Our newest Rider additions! On 26 November 2016 still full from Thanksgiving Our riders headed out from our post 44 and delivered 2 boxes of toys to Post 35 Chandler from donations from our Post 44 Scottsdale! Thank you Post 44 Scottsdale! I’m sure the Kids will appreciate them!

Our next run will be on 4 December to American Legion Post 58 Fountain Hills for the American Legion Riders District meeting. Then again on December 2 again to Motorcycles on Main Mesa! and on the 19th of December we ride to the VA hospital  Phoenix to Help with Bingo for the in house patients there, lots of fun and showing that we care! We invite all Motorcycle Riders who belong to the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion and Auxiliary who have a 350 cc or larger to join us for fun and good times! Our meetings again are the 3rd Monday of month at 7:00 pm at the Scottsdale American Legion Post 44 Thumbs Up!

We will be assisting in manning a table for 9/11 in Tempe Park to help promote the American Legion Post 44 and the American Legion Post 44 Riders. and thanking all those who served and are serving!

9/11/16 American Legion Post 44 friendship ride 0730 KSU to Cave Creek then on to Prescott Az , and Yarnell to see the Hot Shot memorial then on to Wickenburg and back to Phoenix AZ! This will be a full days ride! See ya there!

ALR Post 44 Eddie spent time putting this ride together Let’s all come out and support this ride! This run is for our dedication to the fallen, and those who have put their lives in harm’s way and to those who have and not returned.

Greetings
The month of was very busy for us riders we stole the trophy from American Legion Riders at American Legion Post 138 Tempe AZ and brought it to American Legion Post 44 where is was stolen from us on Monday 20 June by American Legion Post 91! This event brought in about 50 riders to our post from 4 different posts! Great Job Riders!
We riders made our presence known by helping our post for Memorial Day and carrying flags to the cemetery, making a surprise visit to VFW post 720, The Elks lodge 2148 Scottsdale and the DAV in Scottsdale!. On 3 June we got together attended the last Bikes on Main in Mesa AZ and visited American Legion Post 26. We also helped with Flag Day at our post 44 .Our Old Fashion Cowboy Steak Night had Huge success Sold Out with the big steak and live band White Sage! Thank you all!
 We have the Annual AZ ALR meeting coming up on 25 June at Carefree and will meet at American Legion post 34, Cave Creek at 12:00 and proceed to Carefree. on July 23 We will gather our flock and proceed to American Legion Post 35 for their annual bike night! time to be determined! Our meeting for July will be on the 3rd Monday of month 18 July at 7:00 pm! All Riders ARE invited to our meeting! if you have a 350 cc or larger consider joining our team! we are Legion, Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Aux. and proud to be a part of American Legion Post 44 contact any post 44 rider.
